Limited Edition: Irish Cream Caramels-4oz box
Some may argue where whiskey originally derived, Ireland or Scotland. After a lot of research, we tend to lean on the side of the Irish Monks who brought the art of distillation to Ireland from southern Europe in the 1200's. The art of distillation was learned by the Monks as a process to make perfume, and they then refined the art to create a drinkable beverage using an abundance of Ireland's grain, barley.
"Uisce Beatha", Gaelic for "Water of Life", we created these caramels with authentic Irish Whiskey of the single malt fashion, blended with sweet Irish grain at the Isle's oldest whiskey distillery.
Don't let these Irish Cream Caramels confuse you with the popular Irish Cream, often added to coffee for a sweet beverage. We let genuine Irish Whiskey blend with our signature heavy cream laden caramel recipe to create these smooth Irish Cream Caramels, for a limited edition treat in a month when we're all a touch of Irish in celebration of Saint Patrick.
